This is for custom pieces. If you would like to pick something from my one shot or flash section, you do not need to have a consultation. Just contact me via the “Request an Appointment” link and we will find a date for your apppointment.
To schedule a consultation for custom work, please use the contact form. Include what you would like to get (subject matter or ideas), where you want the tattoo, about how large you want it, and if you have other tattoos. Consultations are $100 and are non-refundable. This fee will be deducted from the overall cost of your tattoo. When you come for the initial consultation, I will photograph the area you want tattooed, take a tracing and measurements, and collect any resource imagery you have. This will also be the time that we work together to come up with a sketch of the best possible piece for you.
You will have the chance to view the drawing before your appointment.
The better shape your skin is in the better your tattoo experience will be and the better it will look over time.
For at least a week before getting your tattoo, be sure to moisturize the area and avoid sun.
The day before your appointment, avoid drinking, and get a good nights sleep.
The day of your appointment, have a small meal, be sure to hydrate, and bring what you need for your comfort during your appointment: pillow, teddy bear, head phones, layered clothing so you can adjust if you are too hot or too cold during your session.

If you ahve questions about what is ok and what’s not, don’t be afraid to ask. I have lots of experience getting as well as giving tattoos and how to take the best possible care of them.
